Solidarity from those with "difficult" babies?
I'm FTM to an 11 month old baby who's happy and healthy, so I have a lot to be thankful for. However, I feel like she's such hard work compared to most other babies her age.
She's a terrible sleeper and has been since the 4/5 month regression - we're trying to transition from cosleeping back to the cot so things are especially bad right now but she's waking upwards of 5 times a night. She's not keen on solid foods and most meals will only eat a few mouthfuls before fussing and wanting out of the high chair. She hates the buggy so taking her out is a nightmare. She won't tolerate being left in the cot even for a minute so I have to take her into the bathroom with me unless dad is around, where her favourite activity is unrolling the toilet paper. The list goes on but these are the main things - and I feel like a failure of a mother who's doing everything wrong, especially when I talk to other parents whose babies by this age were eating their own body weight in solids and taking themselves off to bed where they sleep through the night.
Am I right in thinking most 10 month olds are not like this? Can anyone tell me about their equally difficult babies?
