**E-40 just reminded everybody why longevity and the Bay Area go hand in hand.**

The Vallejo legend released his new album ***Turning My Money Over*** on Friday, August 28, delivering **40 songs spread across four 10-track sections**. The project arrives through Heavy On The Grind Entertainment and is being billed as a quadruple album.

And 40 didn't make this one a solo mission.

The guest list reaches across generations and regions of hip-hop, with appearances from **Larry June, Too $hort, B-Legit, LaRussell, Nef the Pharaoh, DaBoii, P-Lo, G Perico, AZ Chike, Juvenile, Busta Rhymes, Anderson .Paak, Killer Mike, Havoc, Celly Cel** and more.

There's a heavy Bay Area presence throughout the project.

**“Soul of Vallejo”** brings E-40 together with **LaRussell, DaBoii, Nef the Pharaoh and NYNY**, while **“Trunk Is Alive”** features fellow Bay veterans **Too $hort and B-Legit**. Larry June appears on **“Game Been Missing.”**

Another standout collaboration is **“Night In The Bay” featuring Anderson .Paak and Al B. Sure!**, giving the album another record centered directly around Bay Area identity.

What's interesting about the project isn't simply its size. E-40 could easily spend this stage of his career living off his classic catalog. Instead, he's putting veteran Bay Area names, current California artists and younger Northern California talent on the same project.

Apple Music specifically highlights his collaboration with **AZ Chike** as an example of the connection between different generations of California rappers.

E-40 released his first LP back in **1992**. More than three decades later, he's still releasing new West Coast music while keeping Vallejo and the Bay Area attached to his name.

**40 new tracks from E-40 in 2026 is crazy work.**

For anybody who has already started listening, drop the tracks that deserve to make the rotation.
