Thinkbook E16 Gen 4 vs. IdeaPad Slim 3i

Hi all, I'm buying a laptop for work and trying to decide between these two.

IdeaPad Slim 3i: $1,150 CAD
15.3" display, 1920x1200 45% NTSC
Intel Core Ultra 7 355
16GB DDR5
512GB SSD

ThinkPad E16 Gen 4: $2,050 CAD
16" display, 1920x1200 100% sRGB
Intel Core Ultra 7 355
24GB DDR5
512GB SSD

The 24GB increase is nice, but the major difference to me is the 100% sRGB screen instead of the 45% NTSC. And the build quality, of course. I regularly make slide decks and figures for presentations and for sharing data, so the accurate colours would be nice but maybe not a huge necessity I guess. But the difference in price between the two is pretty large, and I'm not sure if the ThinkPad is worth it. I'll be reimbursed for it, but we're an academic lab so I don't want to waste money if it's not worth it. Thanks.
