Assisted Living

We are putting my dad in assisted-living after years of trying to keep tabs on him while living in an apartment independently.

He is the sneakiest f***er on planet earth, just last week he drove an hour away to buy a cell phone and open a secret bank account, while also sending gift cards to scammers.

I’m wondering what level of security we can expect in regards to electronics at an assisted-living facility. Basically anytime we tried to take a phone or computer away to avoid him getting scammed. He finds a way to get another phone, or get into trouble with somebody else else’s phone or computer.

Are they actively watching them? I’m wondering what kind of trouble he can get in if we sent him there without a cell phone or computer. I think they allow you to take your car on outings if you get a doctors note.
