The right dosage will help
I came here almost a week ago complaining about my overt hypothyroidism symptoms & how much I hate them, so a lot you told me to go see a doctor & I did. Then 4 days ago I posted before I got my results asking if getting the right dosage will actually help, because it felt so unimaginable to me that my horrible mood, anxiety, memory, focus, eating habits, sleep & more of these annoying symptoms would just go because of a pill.
In case anyone here was experiencing similar things I thought posting this might give you hope. It’s been a few days since I went from taking 50 mcg to taking 100 mcg + iron everyday & it’s been a blessing. All the symptoms I was complaining about especially my sleep & anxiety have gotten so much better. With more days of me properly taking my medication the more I feel like a normal person.
I used to struggle to do basic things because I felt tired & sleepy all the time, except when I was actually trying to sleep. I had terrible mood swings, at one point I’m smiling & laughing, then after moments I’m scared & anxious, then another I’m angry & upset, but now I feel normal. I used to sleep at 6-7 AM because I couldn’t sleep until I was completely worn out, now I wake up then. I used to want to stuff my mouth with any food for no reason, always craving something salty & if I did eat it then right after craving something sweet & it never ends! Now I haven’t been having any cravings, it’s gone. My focus & memory have gotten better too & that’s the best part of all of this to me, because these two were my biggest struggle since I’m a student, so them being fixed feels so unreal.
I’ve been struggling with all these symptoms for more for the past 2-3 years now with most of that time being undiagnosed & just thinking I’m lazy, have brain rot, adhd or that I’m just stupid & that did make me depressed since before that I was doing so well & everyone was telling I’m smart, then I started acting like this & I just saw the disappointment in people’s faces. I’m happy the medication is helping.
THERE’S HOPE FOR THESE ANNOYING SYMPTOMS!!!
