The Duwamish River Trail is the worst in Seattle

Change my mind. I've ridden this trail a lot recently as it's the easiest way to get from West Seattle to the Green River trail, which is mostly lovely and a great place to train. However, I start every ride annoyed and cursing as I ride over endless, enormous, tree roots. There are so many, and they're so aggressive, that twice now they have yeeted a water bottle out of my behind-the-seat cages.

Meanwhile, Marginal right next to it is a perfectly pleasant rode to drive on (but way too high speed for me to feel good about cycling on).

Why in the world can't this City manage to just... pave things?
