Uttarbasti for urethral stricture - anyone with long-term experience, especially after prior urethral surgery?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand the real-world effectiveness of Uttarbasti for urethral stricture, particularly from people who have actually undergone the treatment.

I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who had previous surgical treatment for a urethral stricture (such as urethroplasty, BMG urethroplasty, DVIU/dilatation, etc.) and later tried Uttarbasti because of recurrent narrowing, reduced urinary flow, or similar symptoms.

If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d really appreciate knowing:

• What was your condition before starting Uttarbasti, and had you previously undergone any urethral surgery?
• How many Uttarbasti sessions did you undergo - e.g. 7, 14, 21 days or repeated courses?
• Did you notice an objective improvement in urinary flow, uroflowmetry/Qmax, residual urine, or stricture calibre, or mainly symptomatic improvement?
• How quickly did you notice a difference?
• Most importantly, how long did the benefit last? Weeks, months, several years?
• Have you been able to maintain the improvement by periodically repeating Uttarbasti?
• Did anyone manage to avoid or significantly postpone another surgical intervention after doing it?
• Did you experience any complications such as UTI, irritation, bleeding, worsening narrowing, pain, etc.?
• What medicines/oils were used for your Uttarbasti, if you know?
• Was the treatment performed by an Ayurvedic urologist/qualified practitioner, and was your condition also being monitored by a conventional urologist?

I’m particularly hoping to hear from people with 1–5+ years of follow-up, rather than only experiences immediately after treatment.

I understand individual experiences aren’t the same as clinical evidence and I’m not looking for someone to diagnose me or tell me to discontinue urological follow-up. I’m mainly trying to understand whether Uttarbasti has provided meaningful and durable improvement for people in situations like this.

If you’ve undergone it yourself — especially after previous urethral surgery — I would be extremely grateful if you could share your experience, even briefly.
