SECTION A: GOAL OVERVIEW

I will learn to play 20 complete songs on acoustic guitar within 90 days, progressing from beginner chords to intermediate fingerpicking patterns.

SECTION B: BREAKDOWN OF STEPS

Month 1: Learn basic open chords (G, C, D, Em, Am), practice 30 min daily, master 6 simple songs (Wonderwall, Knockin' on Heaven's Door).
Month 2: Add barre chords (F, Bm), learn strumming patterns, intermediate songs with chord changes, complete 8 more songs.
Month 3: Fingerpicking basics, learn 6 challenging songs, record final performance of favorite song, reach 20-song repertoire.

SECTION C: EVIDENCE COLLECTION PLAN

1. Video recordings — 20 videos showing each song played from start to finish (mistakes acceptable, completion required).
2. Practice log — spreadsheet showing daily practice time, song worked on, chords/techniques learned (90 entries).
3. Progress comparison videos — Week 1 vs Week 12 playing same song showing improvement.
4. Final performance video — 5-minute compilation of 3-5 favorite songs played cleanly.

SECTION D: POTENTIAL OBSTACLES & SOLUTIONS

Finger pain from calluses — start with 15-minute sessions, use lighter gauge strings, apply ice after practice, push through initial discomfort.
Difficult chord transitions — practice changes in isolation, use metronome starting slow (40 BPM), drill transitions 100 times daily.
Frustration with progress — remember Week 1 abilities, celebrate small wins, watch beginner guitarist YouTube vlogs for motivation, don't compare to professionals.

SECTION E: PROGRESS UPDATE SCHEDULE

Updates bi-weekly in comments: Days 14, 28, 42, 56, 70, 84. Include songs mastered count, current practice song, breakthrough moments, techniques learned.

SECTION F: DEFINITION OF SUCCESS

Complete when: 20 songs learned and recorded on video (one per song), practice log showing 90 days of consistent practice, progress comparison video showing improvement, final performance compilation video submitted.
