XRPresso Live is now live — real-time XRPL commerce without building another video platform

Product Update

We just launched XRPresso Live.

The idea is pretty simple:

What if an XRPL marketplace didn’t have to be static?

A seller, artist, creator, service provider, or community can now open a Live Room and run commerce in real time.

The host builds a queue of physical listings, NFTs, services, auctions, or Music tracks. One becomes the Featured Resource, everyone in the room sees it together, and the host can move through the queue like they’re directing a show.

Viewers can then use whatever that resource already supports on XRPresso:
Buy / Make Offer
Place Bid
Message Seller
Order a Service
Tip an Artist
Listen to Music
View the underlying item

The important part is that Live does not create another commerce system.

Our existing NFT and marketplace auction engines remain authoritative. Live doesn’t invent its own bid or settlement system. Physical commerce still follows the existing XRPresso flow. Music still uses the existing player, purchase and XRP tipping rails.

Live Auctions
This is probably one of the most interesting use cases.
A host can queue ten items and run them sequentially:
Card #1 → bids → anti-snipe → SOLD → Card #2 → next…

Everyone sees the current item and bid state together.

The host can control the presentation, but cannot change the current bid, auction end time, or settlement from Live.

X integration
We already had Link X on XRPresso, so Live builds around that instead of creating another social identity system.

Hosts can optionally attach an X Space to a room.
XRPresso doesn’t try to steal or retransmit the Space. Viewers get a Join Space on X companion while the buying, bidding and tipping happens in the XRPresso room.

Hosts can also attach a public X post as context and use Share-to-X to promote scheduled or active Lives.
XRPresso does not auto-post on your behalf.

YouTube Live
Hosts can optionally attach a YouTube Live stream using the official YouTube player.

Video remains completely optional.

If the stream goes down or the embed is blocked, the XRPresso room stays alive:

Featured Resource + Buy / Offer / Bid / Tip + queue + chat all continue working.

We intentionally didn’t build our own camera stack, WebRTC network, recording infrastructure or video CDN.

Why?
Because we don’t think another video network is the interesting part.

The interesting part is making commerce itself real-time.

X can provide audience and conversation.
YouTube can provide video.

XRPresso provides the transaction layer.
That means Live can be used for:
🔨 Live Auctions
🖼️ NFT Drops
🎵 Artist Listening Sessions
🛍️ Seller Showcases
🛠️ Services / AMAs
🌐 XRPL Community Events
And a room doesn’t need X or YouTube at all.
Guests can watch and react. Wallet sign-in unlocks chat and commerce.
