990v6s have been a great intro to the MiUSA line

I'm super satisfied with my new 990v6s.

My first MiUSA pair, direct from NB for 40% off ($200 AUD), making it my second cheapest pair of NBs funnily enough.

I started with a pair of 2002Rs from the outlet last April, and have picked up a pair of 9060s, another pair of 2002Rs (protection packs) and now some 990v6s.

The 990v6s feel like a significant step up. I've had a weekend to break them in, and they've been great. The work well with jeans, they work well with athleisure. Comfy out of the box and have only gotten better after the first few days. I got them in the classic grey and the styling is great to me. I like how they leaned into a sportier modern look. Material and build quality also seems phenomenal.

I went with my NB sizing of US11 and they fit well. Longer than a 2002R but not as long (or as chunky as) as a 9060. I thought they might've been a bit too long initially, but they're fine. The community seems mixed on whether to go half a size down or stay TTS, but I'm glad I went in my usual size. I've got a slightly wider foot and they were snug (but not uncomfortable) and have broken in a bit since.

Can't wait to keep wearing them! What an amazing shoe. Definitely endgame, definitely don't want some 990v4s, definitely will resist getting more.
