A really odd and random request from the wife, need advice

So for those following my story, married 20 years and FINALLY tried pegging a month ago, after years or hesitating to ask wife.

The next morning she felt distant, like all she would say about it wss "it was fine" , so I just kind of dropped it until last night.

We both got a little tipsy and I had strategically saved a YouTube video about couples asking each other secret fantasies and one was a woman asking to peg her guy. This lead to us bringing it up again and after some more of "yeah it was fine" responses she finally said soemthing that REALLY caught me off guard .

She said the biggest turn off was my butt ajd pubic hair. I have to be honest, never in a million years did this even enter my thoughts ever. She said the lube mixed with my butt and pubes was a turn off, and she said if shave it all off she might enjoy it more.

I dont want to say no and risk losing any chance of her pegging me ever again, but I'm also hesitant to shave due ti the horrible itching and rashes I get. I actually did shave my pubes 20 years ago for fun and the only thing I remember was the horrible itching and razor rash. I can't even imagine what my butt would feel like if I shaved it.

So what should I do ? Should i try to gently talk her out of it ? For the ladies on here, is this sormthing you prefer too and how big of a deal is it ?
