Jobs that are hiring

Hello, I have recently moved to Lansing for a little over two years. I went to uni in the US but I have overseas job experience only and when I moved to the US I literally dont hear anything back from companies that I apply to :/ I am really not sure if it's the companies I apply to they don't look at or care about overseas experience or I'm getting filtered out by hr ai. Last year I took on a retail job but I don't feel like that would even add to my resume. Have anyone moved to Lansing internationally have experience of applying to jobs with only overseas experience? Maybe it's just super competitive out here but I am kinda desperate to get hired at this point for a full time job. I do plan on redoing my resume again.
