Accenture Strategy vs Deloitte — what does the 10-year salary trajectory actually look like?
I’m trying to understand what a realistic 10-year compensation trajectory looks like in India for someone in Strategy / Management Consulting at firms like Accenture Strategy or Deloitte Consulting.
There are tons of salary numbers online, but they seem pretty random and usually only show compensation at a particular level.
For example, if someone joined in 2016 and now has ~10 YOE in 2026, what would their journey realistically look like?

Starting salary / role
Promotions and approximate timing
Compensation at each stage
Current compensation at ~10 YOE
Fixed vs bonus/variable
What a strong performer vs average performer might look like
And if someone were joining today, what do you think a realistic 10-year trajectory to 2036 could look like?
Specifically interested in Strategy / Management Consulting.
