I personally know 5 guys whi have qualified for sih. And some shits like that none is placed .

With ai tools now ,projects are a illusion .

Ik 6 cg guys whi built projects with claude and won hackathons but can't create a basic todo app.

Instead go for icpc codeforces etc . You can easily get intern on campus.
