How long does it take to tame a feral adolescent?

Hi, I’m looking for advice. For about week now I’ve been trying to get a feral kitten from a feral colony a couple of streets down from my house. Everyday, around the same time. I go over there to feed this cat. I feed it canned wet food. I stay with it while it eats. At first, I had to put the food several feet away from me. Now, it will eat right next to me. When I show up, it comes out and has even started meowing at me and will retreat and lay nearby after it eats. I can’t touch it yet. Every time that I have tried, it runs away but will return after a minute or two. I took a pic and asked google how old. Google said about 12-14 weeks. I’m wondering if that is too late to try to socialize it. Does anyone know how long this takes and what my next step should be? I’m thinking of trapping it and bringing it home but I’ve worked really hard to get it to trust me and I don’t want to mess that up if I don’t have to. I was feeding its sibling too but I found it dead in the road the other day so I urgently want to get this kitty off the streets. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
