I mentioned before that I studied at a Catholic school, and something that really puzzled me and my classmates since we were children was: Why does the fruit only have an effect after Adam eats it?

In most adaptations, Eve eats the fruit and enters a state of pride or even euphoria, some more than others, or at that moment the fruit was simply delicious and that's it, she wants to share it with Adam, but nothing more than that. And right after Adam eats it, they both realize they are naked.

I've already presented several religious hypotheses I found while searching for that answer. The interpretation where Eve is aware of her nakedness while eating and still wants to give it to Adam, either so she won't die alone... or so Adam will eat it because he doesn't want to live without Eve, is found in parodies, independent productions, and things that deviate from faithfully representing Adam and Eve.

The only "official," so to speak, or oldest source is the Book of APOCALYPSE OF MOSES Greek Life of.Adam and Eve, where Eve swears to give Adam the Fruit to eat, and despite knowing what she's doing, she can't break her oath.

1) Shuumatsu no Valkyrie.

Adam eats the Fruit because in this version, Eve was forced to eat it, and in her love, she ate it to be with her.

2) Robot Chicken.

In this parody, the context is ambiguous, but from the beginning, Eve has already eaten and is aware of being naked. She pressures Adam to eat so she can see him, and both complain about being naked. In this parody, their punishment is for arguing with the Creator rather than for disobeying him.

3) Adam & Eve (PT Unggul Cipta Piranti Animasi Emperor Edutainment)

In this Indonesian film, Eve, after eating the fruit, realizes she is naked, but still gives it to Adam.

4) Adam & Eve (Columbia College Chicago)

In this short film, Eve is aware that she is naked, but Adam, upon seeing this, knows that Eve will die and eats because he loves her and wants to share her fate.

 5) Messed-Up Bible Stories - Adam and Eve

In this Samination parody, Eve, after being tricked and eating, decides to feed Adam so that if she dies, he will too. And not out of love, but out of hatred and pride.
