Cinemark Century 16 Movie theater - N. Shoreline - September Closure?

Hey everyone,

My partner came across a post on the MV Nextdoor community mentioning that the Cinemark Century 16 movie theater on Shoreline will be closing in September.

This is our favorite theater and we go quite regularly. We are both blind/visually impaired, and this particular theater is one of the most accommodating I’ve ever come across for folks with disabilities. There’s always someone to help us at concessions, the audio description headsets that describe what’s happening on screen for the blind always work, and lately, particularly if the manager is helping us out, he always remembers that I like extra extra butter on my popcorn.
That’s a small detail, but I really appreciate it.
Not to mention, the seats are just really comfortable. In addition to being visually impaired, I also have some fine motor skill issues and the seats being how they are are better on my back, the reclining feature is nice because sometimes my legs will lock up and stretching them out helps.

I immediately tried to research this closing online, but couldn't find any mention of it.

I also called the theater and the gentleman I spoke with said "I'm told to tell you I don't have any information on this, and to please call customer service."

Just was wondering if anyone on this sub happen to hear any information about this closure?

TIA.
