How was it growing up upper middle class in America?

Were your parents pretty chill? Did you still go ahead and start working a minimum wage job as teen even when you didn't have to? What careers did you go after ? Were you in an urban area still or the suburbs? I know most people on reddit claim they had it hard growing up. So I wonder how those with parents who had money grew up.
