NKD - JWK Gateway Barlow V2 (and question)
Finally got my hands on the Gateway Barlow in that beautiful kirinite. Question for those of you that have JWKs: I know that the pull is a bit on the stronger side, but are they meant to be pretty strong? I prefer to pinch and pull, as the nail nicks tend to really mess up my nails. For reference, I did also pick up a QSP Hedgehog to give as a gift later, and while that one also has a relatively strong pull, it's a lot easier to pinch out. Any suggestions on breaking this knife in? Everything else is so nice, but I don't want to look like a chump messing around with it when I do need to do some cutting tasks.
...or y'all can tell me I'm weak lol, that could just be the issue. Sometimes it's relatively easy to grab and pull, and other times it just keeps slipping between my fingers.
