uhhhhhhhh this has to be illegal right?

The other day I was at a mall to get a rubix cube but that doesnt matter

What does matter is that the employee asked if I had a phone number, I said "nah" and he proceeded to put his or his friends phone number instead. And he didn't even acknowledge it, I just had the receipt with a phone number I didn't know

hey that is w mans if it was his friend but like ngl was that illegal?
