Is Oda setting this up?

With how Imu and the God Knights are so connected is Oda setting up the single weakness? A massive, terrifying force is completely unstoppable until the heroes find and destroy one central controller, queen, or leader. Like in the Phantom Menace Anakin Skywalker blows up the droid control ship in space, and every single Battle Droid on the planet below instantly deactivates and collapses. Also the Avengers Tony Stark sends a nuclear missile through the portal to destroy the Chitauri mothership, causing all the invading alien foot soldiers on Earth to drop dead instantly.
