Anime Expeditions Tier List for UPD2 - How are we feeling about the new Update 2 units?

I spent some time digging through the stats and passives for all nine new units and updating my tier list. My main takeaway is that this is a very strong batch, although some units are much more specialized than others.

Sovereign (Djinn) looks like the best new boss killer, while Lightning God (Overcharged) has an absurd ceiling once Voltage gets going. Kitsune might be the most universally valuable addition because her buffs work in almost any team. I also ended up placing Jester, Head Captain, Rainman, and Water Mage in S Tier, with Sharkfang and Sand in A.

I rebuilt the team comps as well. Sovereign, Kitsune, and Puppet make an excellent boss core, Head Captain completely changes Burn teams, and the Rainman/Water Mage/Sand control setup can keep enemies locked down for a ridiculous amount of time.

I’m curious where everyone else is placing Jester in particular. His RNG makes him difficult to rank, even though all three rolls are genuinely useful.
