Guys, please help me out. I know this is going to be a long post, but I’d really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to read through it and give me some proper advice. I’m honestly saying all of this with a lot of courage, and posting my pictures as well, because this is kind of a last resort for me. I’m putting myself out there and showing you guys something I’m genuinely insecure about because I really want to improve myself.

🧴 Skin

\- I had quite bad acne a while ago, and unfortunately it has left me with quite a lot of marks/scarring on my skin.

\- I understand that proper acne scarring, especially texture/scars, may eventually require professional treatments or procedures, but apart from the scarring, I really want to improve the overall quality of my skin.

\- My skin looks very dull and unhealthy to me, and I have quite a lot of:

  \- Dark spots

  \- Blackheads

  \- Whiteheads

  \- Uneven texture

  \- Overall dull-looking skin

\- I’m not talking about changing my natural skin colour at all. I just want to achieve the healthiest, clearest and best-quality skin that I’m realistically capable of having.

\- I’m willing to be patient and consistent with it, so what would you guys genuinely recommend?

\- What skincare routine, products, treatments, diet, lifestyle changes, etc. are actually worth doing?

\- I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have dealt with acne, pigmentation and clogged pores themselves.

Lips

\- My lips have also become quite dark.

\- They used to have much better colour and overall quality when I was younger, but over time they’ve become noticeably darker.

\- I don’t smoke at all, so I have no idea what could be causing it.

\- Is there anything I can genuinely do to improve the colour and condition of my lips?

\- Any advice regarding lip care, skincare, diet, deficiencies, habits or anything else that could actually make a difference would be massively appreciated.

I’m not looking for some overnight miracle or a “10-day glow-up”. I’m completely willing to give this months or even years if that’s what it takes. I just want to know what is actually effective and what is complete bullshit.

If you guys could look at the pictures I’ve attached and give me honest, constructive advice on what I can improve, I’d genuinely appreciate it. 🙏
