My boyfriend is so sad that we don’t sleep in the same bed
Me 22F and my boyfriend 22M recently moved into a really nice house together. Before moving in I explicitly communicated several times that I’m a really light sleeper and I have a hard time sleeping. I told him that I would like my own room for the foreseeable future And I would like to sleep alone most nights. I make sure that we have nice cuddling time and intentional time together and then when bedtime comes, we part ways. I anticipated this hurting his feelings so I made sure this was absolutely OK before moving in together and now that we are living together, he’s having a really hard time with it. He’s really sad when it comes to bedtime. I just don’t know where the line is I guess. I’m having a hard time telling if it’s me being selfish or if maybe it’s a reasonable boundary IDK he is really really nice and soft and I don’t want to be the reason he is feeling so much sadness.
