Has the Internet made everyone more secular?

I was reading an article about religion in Eastern Europe, and how, following the widespread adoption of the internet and social media, church attendance among young people declined in countries that were considered the most religious (Poland, for example).

This trend is repeated in other countries that have embraced widespread use of the internet, social media, and virtual entertainment from the 2010s to the present—the United Arab Emirates and its increasingly non-religious youth, India as well, and Latin America, where there are already countries with non-religious and secular majorities. Does this make sense to you?
