Moving the seton, how early to start?

My dear fistular friends: many days in after placement did you start moving your seton? Tips for a seton newb?

Draining seton went in yesterday. REALLY loving this nerve block.

The doctor said to start moving the seton “when I feel ready.” I’ve tried to start to touch it and make friends with it in my sitz bath. But if it’s up to me to make a decision now, ready might be never…. *shudder*

But realistically, it does feel so swollen it’s hard to really find. So I’m sure that’s contributing to the fear.
