Commuting from further out

Hi folks!

I'm joining the OU as staff towards the end of the year and was wondering if anyone stays slightly further out than a typical commute (still England based) and just heads in stays locally like a night a week. My onsite commitments in MK are expected to be a day or two a week. So recommendations for good places to stay, how you managed it, etc... all welcome!

Also have a few other questions that would be great to get input on from anyone on the academic side of things. If you'd be happy to answer a few questions over DM, let me know 😁
