I became the hotwife my husband's friends wanted - PART 11

The next hangout fell on a Saturday. Ryan was in the kitchen pulling more beer, so the living room was just me and the guys.

I wore shorts I normally would have changed out of before they came. Soft cotton, riding high. When I sat near Marco I made sure not to tug them down.

"Hey Sienna, you doing alright over there " Marco said

"I'm doing fine, Marco" I said. "It's just a little warm in this room tonight."

Dean shifted on the couch. "Are you sure you're comfortable? You seem restless"

"I'm just relaxed, that's all" I said. "Nothing wrong with being comfortable in my own house"

I let my knee fall open a little, slow, like I hadnt noticed the fabric crept up. I looked at my drink, innocent. The silence stretched.

Theo's eyes dropped to my thigh and snapped back up like he'd touched something hot. Chris watched me steady from the end of the couch, like that first night.

"Anyway, it's really nice having all of you over tonight" I said. "Ryan loves when his friends come by"

Then I stood slow to get more ice. I leaned over the coffee table for the pitcher, giving them a long look from behind, the shorts hugging when I bent.

Behind me, someone breathed out hard.

"You need a hand with that pitcher, Sienna?" Dean said, his voice thick.

"I got it, Dean, thanks for offering" I said while dstraightening up.

I sat back down and smoothed my shorts. "What's wrong with everyone" I said. "You all look like you've seen a ghost"

"Sienna, you're killing us tonight" Liam said. "You have no idea what you're doing."

"Me?" I said, eyes wide. "I'm just sitting here drinkin like everybody else"

At the end of the couch, John was watching me. He hadnt said a word all night, but his eyes were on me, steady, like he was trying to figure out if I was playing dumb or not. I caught his look and held it a second, then smiled and looked away, like I hadnt meant anything by it.

The quiet in the room was thick. I could feel it pressing on my skin, the same way I could feel each of them not knowing what to say. The air was different now. Charged. Like a storm about to break.

Chris shifted in his seat, and when he spoke his voice was lower than the rest. "You always this relaxed around us, Sienna?" he asked.

I knew what he was really asking, and I knew he knew I knew. But I played it straight. "Only the ones Ryan trusts" I said.

He smiled a little, slow, and something passed between us that the others couldnt quite catch. Marco glanced between us, frowning, not understanding.

After a while, Marco cleared his throat. "So, anyone want another beer?" he said.

A few of them nodded. Ryan came back in from the kitchen and handed out bottles. The night went on, but the current was different. I could feel it. They could feel it. None of us would say a word about it, but the line had shifted.

I picked up my water and walked to the kitchen. Ryan was leaning against the counter.

"Having fun out there?" he said.

"Always do" I said.

And I smiled into my drink, because I had, and they had, and the room was waiting for the next time I gave them a reason to look.
