Anyone else deal with racism here? Let’s talk about it

Hi everyone!

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and wanted to open it up here rather than just sit with it alone.

Racism in Denmark is one of those things that gets talked about a lot but not always talked about directly. I feel like there’s this tension between the country’s image (tolerant, fair, one of the “good” ones) and what a lot of us actually experience day to day. Curious what other people’s experience has been.

Not looking for a pity party or a “well actually Denmark isn’t that bad” thread. I just want an honest conversation among people actually navigating this.
