See it all the time with single women of women who don't have a good relationship with their dude, then turn around and look for that lack of love and attention in their son and out their son in a weird emotional husband role.

It's so common and should be called out. And no, it's not normal. One thing is to love your son. Another is to put them in an emotional love role because your dude doesn't give you love.
