Manager Ghosting me After I Submitted Resignation
Hi, wanting advice. I am a nursing supervisor in a government setting. I provided my resignation to my position 4 weeks ago because our department is undergoing a merge and transition and the decisions and communication surrounding this decision have been dismal. Leadership has lied to staff, provided false Hope about position security, and has not been transparent about the process. I gave the reason for my resignation to be that I wanted to work part time, closed to home. But my manager knew why I was quitting and since my formal announcement, they have completely left me out of any conversations about delegation of my duties, only asking for me to provide my duties in writing. Communication has been only single words, and they have been talking with my direct reports without me, and not including me in the information they are discussing with my staff. I have 3 weeks left at this job. Is it worth any of my time or effort to bring this up to them or anyone else? Thank you for any insight.
