Course Recommendation for Massachusetts?

I'm going to be in Massachusetts this weekend, and looking for a course recommendation somewhere between Worcester and Boston. Preferably somewhere that allows you to walk? Just from my looking around, I'm noticing a lot of courses up there seem to have mandatory carts.
