I've been reading in the news about vestigial structures on or around the uterus that they're now finding have functions. What does that mean for a hysterectomy?
57f, have been told I will get cancer if I don't have a hysterectomy, after hysteroscopy two months ago.
I'm thinking of the epoophoron; the immune functions of the ovaries after menopause, and the female equivalent of the prostate. My doctor has said she'll give me hormones "if I think I need them" but what about all this other stuff?
