Im pretty sure that my best friend has ADHD. What are strategies I can implement to help him?

Questions/Advice

Both me and my friend are 21. I had gotten diagnosed with ADHD earlier this year and am already medicated.

During my research phase on what ADHD was and talking to him about my struggles, he realized that these are things that his also been struggling with as well and not in the 'ADHD makes me so quirky lol~' way. Especially once we both entered the adult world, him College and me work.

We've known each other since we were 14, have always gotten along like crazy as we were always on the same wavelength and could match each other's energy and not care about bizarre mannerisms the other had. Looking at our past behaviours when we were younger was what also led to me strongly believing him to have it as he exhibited a lot of the traits in hindsight.

He moved away to the other side of our country when we were 16 but we still talk frequently almost everyday online (not counting the long periods where we don't message one another and then talk again as if no time passed at all, lmao)

He doesn't have medical aid or the money as of now to see a psychiatrist to get an official diagnosis and get medicated, as that was my first suggestion to him. Which really fucking sucks :/

My strategies so far are: Sending him videos on ADHD and how it works, got his email and linked our Google Calenders to set up reminders for him, trying to introduce him to Brain Dumping, Body Doubling and maybe creating a Discord Bot that'd serve as a Task alarm.

Some of my darkest days in my life were drowning under the weight of this disorder and I'll be damned if I let someone close to me suffer the same crap when I can help them. Until he gets a diagnosis this is the best we can do.

Does anyone have any experience and advice on this front?
