Is there anything else that's just... there?

from what I've read so far, most people are either liked, or outcasted/bullied. but in my experience, I've always been something in between the two. i mean no one ever hated or bullied me, but at the same time, no one cares about me that much. people invite me to things, but only as an afterthought. im welcomed into groups, but no one notices when im not there. im always in the back of the group, or a step too far, or too quiet and unnoticed when people talk. for the most part, the only time that people notice me is when they want homework answers, help with understanding something, cheating on tests, ect. and i can't really blame them, im not much for conversation.

is anyone else like this? or is it just me?
