I wasn't interested in you at all. In fact, the only reason I paid any attention is because it was obvious you were working at a ranch, and I figured you'd be a way of getting in contact with the owner. Turns out, it's a small one, that you're running alone, and it's actually in your name.
So I did give you my number ... but at our first date, I made one thing clear ... I'm not into you. However I'm willing to pretend, and to move in with you ... because I've always wanted to live on a ranch.

Just not in the house ... once I get there, I'll be living in the barn, among the animals. Because they're the ones I actually want to be with. I'll be sleeping with them, it's gonna get filthy - literally - and you'll be helping me do it. It's either that, or you can go back being single and try your luck to ever finding someone else. We both know how unlikely that is.
So like it or not, this is how it's gonna go.
