Bonded rabbits fighting?

Care

I think my rabbit is being territorial over me - I’ve had her since was a baby and she’s been living in my room for three years. Afew months ago we adopted another bun and it took a week or two but they got along very fast.

While the male did try and mount her she always refused and I assumed she was the dominant one in the pair. He groom her alot while every now and then she will groom him although its rare.

I was cleaning my floor and decided to put them both on my bed cause I was taking stuff out from underneath and didn’t want them in the way. Completely forgot the male had never been on my bed before although they were fine until I put them back on the floor.

My female ran and growled at him and they began to circle and chase each other before the male tried to then mount her and she ran away. I grabbed my female rabbit and she started licking me - which she never does anymore only when she was a babe which I found strange.

I’m thinking she is being territorial over me? She used to go on my bed before we adopted the male but she kept peeing on it so I placed a barrier, she keeps licking me still and growling and lunging for him when he’s just chilling?

I genuinely don’t know what to do but she’s always had a bit of an attitude but it hasn’t been a problem till now.

Both are neutered and around the same age (3/4) and my room is quite big so I don’t see how it can be for space etc
