Hello everyone!

I checked out Zara's new men's jeans collections and added the models I liked to my cart. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to buy them at their original price. From now on I will try to purchase them with an 80% discount starting in December. I need the help of experienced online shoppers to successfully buy them with a big discount.

This August, I managed to buy a few old collections at a big discount. My last size was left in the online store. I added it to my cart and clicked the checkout button. Then the system took me to the payment stage. But I didn't make the payment. 2 hours passed. During those 2 hours, I just exited the Zara app. I didn't swipe it away from the background apps. The app kept running in the background. I came back and removed the 13£ jeans from the checkout stage. The most interesting thing is that a few minutes later, when I went to the sale section, those same 80% discounted 13£ jeans had not been sold. Then I bought them immediately. I think that if I hadn't left the product in the payment process and hadn't reserved it, it would have already been bought by another customer.

The main question is:

If I leave the jean models in my cart at the payment stage for 12-14 hours starting in December, pre reserve them like in the above situation and allow the Zara app to run in the background will they not get sold out? In mid January (I think the final winter sale also starts in mid January), when the 80% discount starts, I will buy them immediately. Does this algorithm work this way? If the sales processes are managed automatically, I think this will work as long as the items distributed by size, color and cut in the online store are not taken away from the warehouse to the offline store. I look forward to the opinions of experienced online shoppers.

How many hours are clothes reserved in advance kept in online stores?
