Sorry, but I have to say this — I feel like some people in Malaysia can be quite rude.

I’ve met many lovely, kind and genuinely welcoming people here, so I’m definitely not talking about everyone. But I’ve also had a few interactions recently where people were unnecessarily rude, dismissive or unfriendly, and honestly, it surprised me.

Maybe it’s just been my personal experience, but I’m curious — have other foreigners living in Malaysia experienced this too? Or am I simply having a run of bad luck?
