Just a random thought about the "why Kris keeps coming to the hospital" line

I saw people discussing this line and how this line is said by Noelle even if the player never visited Rudy before that point.

One possible explanation seemed very simple and plausible: "Toby legit forgot Rudy was an optional NPC"

I don't hate this idea; after all it's implied Rudy's hospitalization is very recent. It just made me think of something - if Toby forgot Rudy is optional for the purposes of that line of dialogue, wouldn't that mean he just assumes Rudy is a mandatory encounter? And the whole "Rudy is optional he can't be the Knight" sentiment falls flat?

As a disclaimer, I am not saying everyone against RudyKnight has made this argument. But I really think that line about Kris visiting Rudy in the hospital multiple times is extremely important and needs to be analyzed more because I can't think of a lot of innocent reasons for Kris to be visiting
