What level did you beat the fire giant at?

Right now I’m on my first playthrough and I’m kinda stuck on the fire giant at level 79. Dunno if that’s too low or what, but I was wondering about what level I should be to beat him. I’m using a strength build, if that matters.

Also, if I decide to level up more I’ll definitely need a lot of runes. What do you think the best rune farm is at or before this point?

PLEASE lol, I’m desperate to burn that obnoxious tree down as soon as possible.
