college freshman — worried about getting into vet school

hello!! i just started my first year of college and the workload is already overwhelming. I was 4th in my class at high school, but i recently started at UT Austin and i feel so behind and undeserving— I’m taking gen chem, gen bio, and calculus my first semester and i’m just not sure i can make good enough grades— would getting a B in these classes hurt my chances at getting into vet school in the future?
