I had FOMO seeing the amount of plugins being created and the ease at which they're becoming available, and noticed there were no Sudoku plugins as yet, so I created a one where you can play directly from the QuickShell bar.

Here is the repo and main features:

https://github.com/bhaveshsooka/omadoku

**The game**

- Puzzles generated on the fly at four difficulties, each verified to have exactly one solution
- Clock starts when you begin a new game
- Keyboard-first: digits to place, vim keys to move, `u`/`r` undo/redo, space for pencil marks, `?` for a hint
- Peer, same-digit and conflict highlighting, each switchable
- Pause covers the grid rather than dimming it, so you can't keep solving by eye
- Theme adapts to your active Omarchy theme

**It remembers things**

- Clock keeps running while the popup is closed
- Board, marks, hints and time all survive a shell restart
- Opening the panel returns you to your game - it never deals one on your behalf

**Stats**

— lifetime solves, win rate, streaks, best and average time per difficulty. Resettable.

**Cool Stuff**

- The win animation bursts every digit into confetti and empties the grid;
- With no game running a demo board sits there solving itself;

Hoping it gets listed on the marketplace soon. Feedback welcome, especially on themes - I've mostly been staring at it in Kanagawa.
