GTX sizing is garbage
Why does Altra not adjust the size of their shoes to accommodate their gtx liners instead of forcing us to play the How Much Do We Size Up for each gtx model? Just got an Olympus gtx a half size larger than normal and it still feels a full size too short AND narrow. That is ridiculous. I wear a regular width, usually the same size across the board. To have to guess upto a size and a half larger is just catastrophic design.
Is it not the shoe company's responsibility to build their shoes to a sizing standard? Making a shoe with a GTX liner that takes up volume? How about you increase the volume of the shoe accordingly instead of forcing customers to guess what size they now are in this one, specific model?
Annoyed enough with this experience to give up on Altra. Having to go up a size and a half is just dumb.
Join the revolution, people: don't indulge elite-priced brands that can't bother to get within a half size of standard.
