Maggot King - how much better is Harm Orb over Shadow?

I'm currently grinding out Maggot King and I know the Wiki states Harm Orb is BIS, but how much better is it than using the Shadow?

I just want to know if it's worth splurging the cash on it if it's significantly better than the Shadow.
