Im bored, help me find hidden gems in mangalore city

Guys sooo bored here in pg, recommend me something to here at Mangalore. I don't have a vehicle here so long distance don't sound good. I like reading it would be nice if you can suggest me a spot in center of Manglore as Im staying near railway station. I would be happy to participate in local cultural program as im not a kanadiga and I will be here for 15 more days only.... suggest some ideas to kill my boredom
