Aspiring Pilot Wife

Just cane across this group. My husband is currently doing his CPL and also works FT job. I am very scared of this journey even though I supported him but the uncertainty of not getting job and all the stuff on reddit makes me very nervous. I feel like he can may be do sth else but he keeps saying this is his passion.
We both work and have decent corporate jobs.
I want to ask from my pilot wives. When your partner was doing training how difficult was it to manage? How did you push through early years of struggle? Do pilots make enough money to have a good lifestyle or does it take a lot of time to start even making decent money?
None of my family members have been in this industry all of us are doctors, engineers or in finance so the instability of this industry with respect to jobs and pay had been really scaring me and I would really love to know your opinion about it.
