No Liquid-Solid Transmutation?

I had some excess Liquid Heavy Xiranite and wanted to convert it back into regular Heavy Xiranite last night. It was only then I realized the game doesn't have a Liquid->Solid conversion method.

In order to accomplish the task I had to chain Liquid->Gas and Gas->Solid Transmutation Units together. The lack of a Liquid-Solid Transmutation Unit makes sense because we've used the Reactor Crucible to liquify stuff since the beginning of Wuling, so a Transmutation Unit that does the same would seem redundant... except, there's no apparent way to reverse the process.

Or am I missing something? I thought the Reactor Crucible might have a "hidden" recipe to work in reverse, such as Liquid Xiranite+some form of Carbon, but no dice. Since there's no required use case for I'm not surprised, but (most of) the other Transmutation recipes can be reversed so this feels like a functionality gap.
