If this BS about 1 show a week is true the show is gonna be unlistenable

I still don't think its true, but with this new HBO deal it is possible. And with it being HBO they are gonna want interviews. So the show every week will be 1 hour of startup and then an interview no one cares about. Everything that makes the show still listenable will be gone.
