Why do we tend to pronounce ശ്ര and ശ്രീ as സ്ര and സ്രീ in names? Even though that pronunciation is incorrect, why aren't people eager to correct it like they do with other pronunciation errors?

We tend to pronounce

ശ്രീ ലക്ഷ്മി as സ്രീ ലക്ഷ്മി

ശ്രേയ→ സ്രേയ

ശ്രുതി→സ്രുതി

ശ്രാവൺ→സ്രാവൺ

etc..

I feel weird to pronounce people's names starting with ശ്ര correctly because others tend to pronounce it as സ്ര.

I think there are also some words in Malayalam starting with ശ്ര which we mispronounce as സ്ര, but I can't remember right now.

We don't pronounce ശരത്ത് as സരത്ത് or ശാലിനി as സാലിനി but for ശ്ര we mispronounce
